Younger toddlers may tell you a line is a dragon. Older toddlers may proudly tell you, “This says ‘I love you’” as they point to squiggles on the page. Whatever your child draws, or no matter how readable it is, make sure to respond to the meaning of the writing. At this session, we will discuss the progression of writing development and ways to encourage writing in your home.
